Ian's personal blog

Almost 6 weeks ago I was diagnosed with bowel cancer and liver metastasis.  Since then an almost innumerable number of people have reacted with their love, prayers, hope, encouragement and support.  Many have said they want to keep up with my progress(!), but wonder how best to keep in touch... quite a few suggested I start a blog...

  1. Ian,

    Loved the email.
I thought initially that "fluorouracil" and Paddy the Portacath were some kinds of
single malt ;) and it was no wonder you were feeling "remarkably well".
Seriously though I will follow the blog, what a great idea, trust you to do that!
And, as for Boris, Peter and Sean things are beginning to look like a childrens book, visions of "What does Ian Charters do all day"?
    Now that's a story.

    Lots of love,
    Brian

  2. Ian, thank you for writing your blog. I follow you closely.

It would be interesting to compare the cost/benefits of the UK healthcare system vs the new ObamaCare system recently passed in the US.
